Many software use continuous improvement, which update features. (For example: https://maven-analytics.canny.io/feature-requests/p/add-semantic-models-to-the-power-bi-service-course notes that Power BI Service has changed.) So when searching for courses, it's helpful for learners to know when a course's content was created or updated. Some learners, who are returning to work after several years not using a software, may be interested in updating their knowledge to the current version.
Unlike Microsoft Excel Foundations (which discloses that it was "Last Updated: March 27, 2025"), I don't see a date disclosure in most course descriptions. Please disclose the created date for courses that haven't been updated yet. The alternative is to note the software version being used in videos. Sorting courses by "newest" is relative.
