For Power Query tutorials perhaps you could include some tips on efficient sourcing of data?

While the direct data sourcing options within 'Get Data' are extensive, I'm thinking that for efficiency and speed it's probably best for Excel/PowerBI to primarily import data from .csv files in folders which have been created by external SQL procedures run on a daily or perhaps more regular basis?

This also might make the solutions more portable for testing and perhaps also resilient to occasional database downtime. Broadly I'm asking for tips on how to configure the general environment in which our projects run, to have the best chance of success. Thanks for your consideration.
