Maven Portfolio issues
Yovani Pillay
Hi Maven Analytics Team,
Similar to the comment by Akhand, it would be nice to have a Markdown editor that's very similar to what Jupyter Notebook uses. I know that Markdown automatically aligns our content to "left align" by default. To many of us this isn't ideal but, for those who do know a little bit HTML, can type a few lines of code for the content to render appropriately to what the user wants.
I'm not sure if this would be possible, but maybe if we could have options for alignment? Especially for those like myself, who aren't very code savvy to be able to align our images, image captions and headings more appropriately. And yes, please fix the space, numbered and bullet list issues. It's a very nice platform that I'd like to host my portfolio on but, this issue is a bit of a bummer.
This would be really awesome and the project page would look more presentable - especially if an employer/recruiter did look at it. I wouldn't want them to think that I didn't pay attention to my formatting or that I was careless when I published it :(
I also upvoted Chris Dutton's request for the ability to choose which credentials to show on Showcase as this was also a feature I had in mind.
Otherwise, I really enjoy using the platform itself. I love the new changes you guys made to the learning platform. I think Showcase is a cool place to build my portfolio - it would just be so much better if these issues could be resolved to provide a better experience for everyone using it.
Thank you once again. I know this was a bit long but, I hope these features will be considered :)
